How natural gas and oil companies are making the most of water across operations

When energy companies remove natural gas and oil from deep below Earth’s surface, in a process known as hydraulic fracturing, water is often extracted as well. In order to make the most of this water, companies now treat and recycle this water, using it in future operations.
